Collectors Sidekick Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Blue Ridge Card Vault LLC ("we", "us"), the maker of Collectors Sidekick. By buying or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Your license
- One purchase lets you use the app on your own devices (phones, tablets and computers) and share it with people in your own business or household who sign in with the same Google account.
- You may not resell, share or publish your license key, or copy, resell or redistribute the app or its code.
- The license is for as long as we offer the app. It doesn't expire, and there's no subscription.
2. Your data is yours
- Your inventory, sales, trades and shows belong to you. They are stored on your devices and in your own Google Drive, not on our servers.
- You are responsible for keeping backups. The app includes a backup button and reminds you to use it. We can't recover data that was deleted or lost from your device or Google account, because we never have a copy.
- How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
3. Scanning and other services
- Optional features use other companies' services: Google (Drive sync, and the optional Google AI key for scanning) and Polar (payments and license keys). Your use of those services is also covered by their own terms.
- Scanned details can be wrong. Always check what a scan fills in before you save it.
- The app doesn't tell you what cards are worth. Prices are whatever you enter.
4. Using the app responsibly
You agree not to use the app for anything illegal, or to try to break, copy or get around its license check.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is." We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, or that it will fit every need. Features that depend on other companies (Google, Polar, web browsers) may change or stop working if those companies change their services.
6. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost sales, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages from using the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
7. Updates and changes
We may update the app to fix problems or add features. We may also update these terms, and we'll change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
8. Ending the license
If you break these terms (for example, by sharing your license key publicly), we may deactivate your license. Your data stays in your Google Drive and is still yours.
9. Not affiliated
Collectors Sidekick is not affiliated with or endorsed by any sports league, team, player, card manufacturer, grading company, trading card game publisher, Google, Anthropic or Polar. Names are used only to describe the cards you own.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.

Refund Policy
- 30-day money-back guarantee. If the app isn't right for you, email mikejones@blueridgecardvault.com within 30 days of buying and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method through Polar, our payment company. Your bank may take a few days to show it.
- When a refund is issued, the license key is turned off. Your data stays in your Google Drive, and the backup file you saved still opens in any spreadsheet app.
- After 30 days, we don't offer refunds, except where the law requires one or if a problem on our side keeps the app from working and we can't fix it.
- Charging back a purchase instead of asking for a refund also turns off the license.
